Indiana University Purdue University Indiana is offering a free, online training course for the upcoming new AP Computer Science Principles course (CS Principles) from June to July 2015. Eligible attendees include all Indiana teachers, and interested parties can email Michele Roberts email@example.com.
Course Participants Earn 45 Professional Development Credits from IUPUI, as well as a Certificate from the University of Alabama.
CSP4HS provides free online instruction to educators who are interested in learning more about Computer Science Principles (CS Principles), which is a new Advanced Placement course being developed by the College Board.
The CSP4HS target audience is high school teachers interested in learning more about CS Principles. Specifically, the course assumes that participants are high school teachers who have little to no previous training in Computer Science. However, current K-12 Computer Science teachers and college faculty may also find parts of the course to be helpful toward understanding the topics covered in the CS Principles curriculum framework, as well as pedagogical suggestions for teaching the course for the first time.
