Purdue University, in partnership with edX, is offering an online AP Computer Science A course for the 2016-17 academic year. This course can be taken by students, or interested educators, at no cost. The class will feature instruction from Purdue faculty and staff, and will cover all topics addressed in the AP CS A course curriculum.

The 2015-16 Indiana Aspirations in Computing Awards competition for high school girls, in conjunction with the national award, is set to kick off on September 1. The annual awards are given to high school aged women in the state of Indiana that have demonstrated outstanding aptitude and interest in IT and computing.
