ACM High School Programming Competition 2017

The ACM High School Coding Competition will be held on Purdue University’s campus, Saturday April 15, 2017. The event is an annual programming competition hosted by Purdue’s ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) Chapter. High School Students from around the Midwest will come to Purdue to compete. Teams of two students attempt to solve 10 programming questions in the shortest possible time. The questions cover a variety of topics and difficulty levels. The best teams take home prizes, and all students will receive something for attending.

Purdue BoilerCode K-12 Hackathon

Students from Purdue University’s Computer Science Department will be hosting the third annual BoilerCode K-12 Hackathon on Saturday, April 8th, 2017 from 9 am to 4:30 pm at the Lawson Computer Science Building on Purdue’s campus. During this event, students will engage in guided activities using a number of current technologies in CS.

Purdue CS Summer Camp 2017 Enrollment Open

Purdue University is offering both middle school and high school summer camps from June 11-16, 2017. The camps will focus on introducing students to computational thinking and programming using computer security as a central theme. Students will explore ideas in cryptography, networks, and data security by using a variety of tools including Linux, Python, Scratch, Raspberry Pi and others.
