Purdue CS Summer Camp 2017 Enrollment Open

Purdue University is offering both middle school and high school summer camps from June 11-16, 2017. The camps will focus on introducing students to computational thinking and programming using computer security as a central theme. Students will explore ideas in cryptography, networks, and data security by using a variety of tools including Linux, Python, Scratch, Raspberry Pi and others.

Purdue CS Ed Week Programming Challenge 2016

Purdue UniversityPurdue University’s Department of Computer Science is encouraging Indiana K-12 students to participate in their annual Programming Challenge held in conjunction with CS Education Week (Dec. 5 – Dec. 11, 2016). The problems are designed for students to work on in teams of up to 4 students.┬áStudents may submit solutions to any of the three problems, and each problem will be looked at independently. The best solution for each problem will win a prize, and all students with correct solutions will have their name published on the Purdue Computer Science website.

K-12 Student Hackathon from Purdue

12080298_155069101506996_2573756947197199225_oBoilerCode is an annual workshop held at Purdue University for middle and high school students. Students will have the opportunity to work with Purdue student mentors to make their own mobile apps, learn various kinds of hardware, and win prizes. Registration is free, and lunch is included!

The event will be held on April 9 from 9am-4:30pm at Lawson Computer Science Building at Purdue.
