BoilerCode is an annual workshop held at Purdue University for middle and high school students. Students will have the opportunity to work with Purdue student mentors to make their own mobile apps, learn various kinds of hardware, and win prizes. Registration is free, and lunch is included!
The event will be held on April 9 from 9am-4:30pm at Lawson Computer Science Building at Purdue.
The Computer Science Teachers Association National Conference will be held this year in San Diego, CA from July 10-12. For those that have not attended in the past, this is an excellent opportunity to interact with other computer science teachers and learn about what is new in the field of computing education.
The 2015 Bebras Challenge – a one-hour adventure in the world of computer scientists – will be made publicly available on November 9th, 2015. This free challenge can be used to introduce students to computational thinking and help them discover their aptitude.
Your students can participate any day between November 9 – 20 at http://challenge.bebraschallenge.org/.
