Purdue University, in partnership with edX, is offering an online AP Computer Science A course for the 2016-17 academic year. This course can be taken by students, or interested educators, at no cost. The class will feature instruction from Purdue faculty and staff, and will cover all topics addressed in the AP CS A course curriculum.
From July 25th to July 27th, 2016, Purdue University’s Department of Computer Science will be hosting teachers for a three day workshop focused on the seven big ideas of the new AP Computer Science Principles course, and on building a community of practice for Indiana CSTA members. Each day will feature a mix of workshop sessions and open time for collaborative lesson planning and activity development.
