Students from Purdue University’s Computer Science Department will be hosting the third annual BoilerCode K-12 Hackathon on Saturday, April 8th, 2017 from 9 am to 4:30 pm at the Lawson Computer Science Building on Purdue’s campus. During this event, students will engage in guided activities using a number of current technologies in CS.
Purdue University, in cooperation with the Indiana Hoosier Heartland CSTA, hosted thirteen teachers on campus for a three-day computer science teaching workshop from July 25th to July 27th, 2016. During the workshop, the teachers worked together to develop collaborative lesson plans, address the Big Ideas of the new Computer Science Principles course, and build the CSTA Community of Practice.
BoilerCode is an annual workshop held at Purdue University for middle and high school students. Students will have the opportunity to work with Purdue student mentors to make their own mobile apps, learn various kinds of hardware, and win prizes. Registration is free, and lunch is included!
The event will be held on April 9 from 9am-4:30pm at Lawson Computer Science Building at Purdue.
